Amita is a highly motivated individual with a keen interest in law and its application. She joined Charsley Harrison LLP team as a Litigation Paralegal in July 2022.

She brings to the firm extensive experience of dealing with General Litigation, Personal Injury, Housing Law, Debt Recovery, Money Claims (MCOL) and Traffic Law matters. She has worked as a Litigation Fee Earner and has assisted Counsel on matters at Senior Court Costs Office (SCCO), Magistrates’ Court, Crown Court and County Courts.

 She is well-versed in dealing with General Litigation matters. She has substantial experience of assisting with Breach of Contract Claims, Housing Law Issues, Building Works and Planning Disputes, & Representations to Local Authorities in various matters amongst others.

Her strength lies in conducting in-depth legal research, reviewing documentation with meticulous attention to detail and identifying all heads of claims early on. This leads to desired outcomes for her clients.

She has assisted Pro-Bono on various Immigration cases, particularly litigants in person in the community. She has also sat as a Volunteer Adjudicator (Independent Panel Member) for School Admission Appeals conducted by the London Borough of Ealing for Academic Year 2021-2022.

She is a multi-lingual and can speak Hindi, Gujarati, basic French and Urdu.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, travelling, musicals and spending time with her family
