Amy completed her law degree and Legal Practice Course at the University of Sheffield before moving to London to join Charsley Harrison in 2010. After leading the Private Client department for several years, Amy took time out to care for her young family, returning on a part-time basis in 2023 before being reappointed as Head of Department in 2024.
Amy advises on the full spectrum of non-contentious private client work, including wills, powers of attorney, deputyships, and estate administration. Her experience leading the department has given her a deep understanding of clients’ needs during significant life events and transitions, helping individuals and families plan effectively for the future.
Her approach combines technical expertise with empathy and clear communication, ensuring clients feel supported through what can often be sensitive and emotional matters.
Outside work, Amy enjoys camping with her family.
