Maddie

Madeline was admitted as a Solicitor in 2015 and joined Charsley Harrison LLP’s private client department in 2018. Madeline became a partner of the firm in 2022.

Dealing with all aspects of private client work, she has extensive experience of Wills, Trusts and the Administration of Estates. Madeline specialises in Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters. Furthermore, she deals with matters where Charsley Harrison LLP is appointed as an attorney or deputy, managing financial affairs, ensuring the provision of care and asset management.

Madeline is renowned for her empathic and caring nature and in addition to being recognised as a Dementia Friend, she is also a fully accredited member of the Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE). She says “I enjoy making people feel more at ease about making a Will and discussing later life planning in general.  I love being able to help people through some of the worst days and to take some of the burden and worry from them.  I really enjoy working as a professional attorney, being a part of someone’s life and helping them to be more independent for as long as possible by being able to remain at home or taking the worry of dealing with the advances of technology that not everyone is comfortable to embrace.”

Madeline regularly hosts workshops and webinars in her field and recently delivered a session on financial planning and Wills.

Outside of work, Madeline likes to enjoy time with her young family, going on long walks and bike rides, as well as learning to play the piano with her daughter. She is also a talented and accomplished photographer.
